Opera Colorado’s productions take place in the unique Boettcher Concert Hall in the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in downtown. They have put on 215 performances in 16 seasons and produce three grand operas each year in February and May.
Opera Colorado has welcomed international stars including Placido Domingo and Josephine Barstow as well as local rising talent. The Colorado Symphony Orchestra – a top-notch draw in its own right, provides the musical selections. They also have a gift shop in the complex that sells books and musical selections. |
