Eldora is the closest ski resort to Denver – just 45 miles northwest of downtown. Lookout Lodge atop Bryan Mountain provides stunning views of the neighboring snow-capped peaks. The most popular ski run is Corona, featuring 1400 vertical feet of endless powder. Eldora also has 30 miles of cross-country skiing and five miles of snowshoeing trails.
Boulder sits just 20 miles to the east of the slopes and makes for a great side trip or a place to hang your hat at the end of the night. Boulder is packed with restaurants, shops and microbreweries. Pearl Street Mall is a pedestrian mall packed with vendors, performers and musicians and a great place to wander around. |
