The massive rock formations that rise 1500 feet above the canyon floor of Eldorado Canyon provide rock climbing of the finest sort. Eldorado Canyon is located about 20 miles northwest of Denver in the foothills of southwest Boulder. There are over 500 different climbing routes that can accompany many levels of experience.
The sheer rock walls are a technical rock climber’s dream. Climbers come from all over the world for the challenge that the walls of rock offer, and of course the views. The regulations are clearly posted at the trailhead.
