On a beautiful Colorado day, you can always find a few climbers traversing the rock cliffs along the east side of Horsetooth Reservoir. With the reservoir at your back and a cool mountain breeze, climbers test their technical skills on the different rock faces.
The cliffs at Horsetooth Reservoir provide an excellent location for beginners to hone their skills before attempting more difficult climbs. That is not to say that difficult climbs cannot be found there, but most are geared towards the beginner.
