With over 28 miles of trails in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Horsetooth Mountain Park provides a picturesque setting for hikers and mountain bikers. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, elk, black bears, eagles, bobcats and coyotes. Trails meander along side interesting rock formations, cascading waterfalls and through lush forests.

Trails vary in length and degree of difficulty. From the ease of the 2.25-mile Horsetooth falls trail to the difficult but rewarding Mill Creek, there will be trails for all ages and abilities. Maps can be picked up at the guard booth at the entrance to the reservoir.
